Ascension San Diego
San Diego, CA
Ascension parish in the Tierrasanta neighborhood of San Diego was established in 1980 by Bishop Leo T. Maher, with the first Mass celebrated that August at a local elementary school. The current church was dedicated in 1985, and its interior was rededicated after renovation by Cardinal Robert McElroy in 2023.
