History
All of San Diego and Imperial counties make up the ecclesiastical territory of the Diocese of San Diego (Latin: Dioecesis Sancti Didaci), a Catholic diocese in Southern California, United States and a suffragan of the Archdiocese of Los Angeles. St. Joseph Cathedral in San Diego is its mother church, and Michael Pham serves as bishop.
