History
About ten miles southwest of Trani, in Apulia, the Latin diocese of Andria (Latin: Dioecesis Andriensis) is seated at Andria Cathedral, which is built over a church dedicated to St. Peter. A suffragan of the archdiocese of Bari-Bitonto, the diocese counts 39 parishes and one priest for every 1,573 Catholics.

Bishop Mansi accepts two young men's "Eccomi" for priesthood
Bishop Mansi accepted the formal commitment of two seminarians to pursue the priesthood during a solemn vespers service in the Diocese of Andria. Antonio Caterino and Francesco Suriano pronounced their "eccomi" before the bishop and the community, marking their first steps toward the priesthood. Caterino and Suriano come from the San Nicola di Mira and Santa Maria Addolorata alle Croci parish communities, respectively. During his homily, Bishop Mansi stated that every vocation in the Church begins and matures through listening, describing it as a gift from the Lord rather than a personal ambition. He asked the diocesan community to pray for the two men, requesting that they receive the grace to have faithful and generous hearts.
