History

Based in Arusha, Tanzania, the Archdiocese of Arusha (Latin: Archidioecesis Arushaënsis) serves as the metropolitan see of the Ecclesiastical Province of Arusha, with Mbulu, Moshi and Same as its suffragan dioceses. Its territory, roughly 67,340 square kilometres in north-eastern Tanzania, spans the whole Arusha Region together with two administrative districts of Manyara Region, Simanjiro and Kiteto.
