The Diocese of Same is a Latin Church diocese in northeastern Tanzania, established as an apostolic prefecture in 1963 and raised to a diocese on 3 February 1977. It is a suffragan of the Archdiocese of Arusha and has been led by Bishop Rogatus Kimaryo, C.S.Sp., since 2010.

History
Rogatus Kimaryo (born 30 October 1956) is a Tanzanian prelate of the Catholic Church who has led the Roman Catholic Diocese of Same, Tanzania as its bishop since 2010, his appointment having been made by Pope Benedict XVI on 30 April 2010.
