The Archdiocese of Nairobi is the metropolitan see of the Latin Catholic Church in central Kenya, tracing its origin to the 1860 Apostolic Prefecture of Zanguebar and raised to a metropolitan archdiocese in 1953. Its seat is the Holy Family Basilica in Nairobi.

History
Kenya's primatial see is the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Nairobi (Latin: Nairobien(sis)), which also serves as the metropolitan see for the ecclesiastical province of Nairobi.
