Latin-rite diocese covering the Austrian state of Vorarlberg, established 8 December 1968 as the youngest diocese in Austria, suffragan of the Archdiocese of Salzburg. Its seat is the Cathedral of St. Nicholas (Dom St. Nikolaus) in Feldkirch. Bishop Benno Elbs has led the diocese since 8 May 2013.
