The Diocese of Bragança Paulista joined approximately 270 representatives from dioceses and archdioceses across São Paulo for the 47th Ecclesial Assembly of the CNBB Regional Sul 1. Held from September 25 to 27 at the Itaici Monastery in Indaiatuba, the meeting focused on the theme of communicating human dignity. Bishop Sérgio Aparecido Colombo represented the diocese alongside several pastoral leaders, including Father Alexandre Nascimento, Father Josias Fernando da Silva, and Sandro Barroso. Tânia Cortez and Rony attended as state coordinators for Family Ministry, while Edite Neves served on the official communication and coverage team for the assembly. The gathering included prayer and reflection to address challenges in the Church's evangelizing mission. Archbishop Moacir Silva, the archbishop of Ribeirão Preto and president of CNBB Regional Sul 1, presided over the sending Mass that concluded the event on September 27.

The Diocese of Bragança Paulista participated in the 47th Ecclesial Assembly of the CNBB Regional Sul 1 from September 25 to 27 at the Itaici Monastery in Indaiatuba, Brazil. The assembly brought together approximately 270 representatives from archdioceses and dioceses across the state of São Paulo to discuss the Church's evangelizing mission. Under the theme "Communicating Human Dignity," participants addressed the challenges of evangelization amid modern cultural and social changes, emphasizing the need to place the human person at the center of communication, pastoral action, and the Church's presence in society. Bishop Sérgio Aparecido Colombo represented the diocese alongside Father Alexandre Nascimento, the diocesan pastoral coordinator, and Father Josias Fernando da Silva, an advisor for communication and youth ministries. Sandro Cardoso also attended as a representative for the youth ministry. Tânia Cortez and Rony, state coordinators for the Family Ministry, were also present. Edite Neves, the diocesan coordinator for communication and vice-coordinator for the national communication ministry, served on the official event coverage team and participated in a discussion group.

The Diocese of Bragança Paulista concluded its annual clergy retreat on Thursday, September 24, 2026. The retreat, which began the previous Monday, brought together diocesan priests for several days of prayer, silence, and spiritual renewal. Priests participated in daily Eucharistic celebrations, personal prayer, and adoration of the Blessed Sacrament. The retreat focused on the new Diretrizes Gerais da Ação Evangelizadora da Igreja no Brasil and the implementation of the 5º Plano Diocesano de Pastoral. Father Carlos Javier Werner Benjuema led the retreat. During the closing, Bishop Sérgio Aparecido Colombo shared a message regarding the experience, and Father João Maria, rector of the Seminário Maior Imaculada Conceição, spoke on behalf of the diocesan priests.
