Metropolitan Archdiocese of Chapecó in Santa Catarina, Brazil, established as a diocese in 1958 and elevated to a metropolitan archdiocese in November 2024. It is the metropolitan see for the dioceses of Lages, Caçador, and Joaçaba.

History
Chapecó, Brazil, is the seat of a Roman Catholic archdiocese (Latin: Archidioecesis Xapecoënsis). Before its elevation to archdiocesan rank in 2024, the see belonged to the ecclesiastical province of Florianópolis.
