In central Brazil, the Diocese of Formosa (Latin: Dioecesis Formosensis) stands as a Latin suffragan see within the ecclesiastical province of Brasília. Its cathedral, the Catedral Nossa Senhora da Imaculada Conceição, dedicated to Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception, rises in the city of Formosa in the state of Goiás.
