Diocese in Guajara-Mirim, Rondonia, in the ecclesiastical province of Porto Velho. Erected as a territorial prelature in 1929 and promoted to a diocese on 16 October 1979. The see is sede vacante after Bishop Benedito Araujo was transferred to Campo Maior in November 2025.

Diocese of Guajará-Mirim hosts Vocational Meeting The Diocese of Guajará-Mirim held a vocational meeting for young people from the South Pastoral Region on Saturday, September 19, in Colorado do Oeste. Vocational animation teams from four parishes organized the event, which brought together youth from Cerejeiras, Colorado do Oeste, Corumbiara, and Cabixi. The meeting provided participants with opportunities for reflection.
