The Metropolitan Archdiocese of Teresina is a Latin Church archdiocese in Piaui, Brazil. Erected as the Diocese of Piaui in 1902 and elevated to a metropolitan archdiocese in 1952, it is the metropolitan see for seven suffragan dioceses.

Archdiocese of Teresina opens registrations for catechesis week
The Archdiocese of Teresina has opened registrations for the XVII Archdiocesan Week of Catechesis. The event will take place from September 28 to October 2 at the Dom Avelar Brandão Vilela auditorium in the Fatima neighborhood. The program, themed "Enlarge the tent: Catechesis, Encounter, Synodality and Mission," invites catechists, priests, religious, and laypeople to attend.

Diocese of Teresina hosts symposium on education
The Diocese of Teresina will host the first Education Pastoral Symposium on October 2 and 3. The event, themed "Drawing new maps of hope," invites members of the educational community from schools, universities, and other interested groups to learn about the Church's evangelizing mission through pastoral work. The symposium will take place at the ESA – OAB/PI auditorium in the Cabral neighborhood. Registrations are currently open for participants.
