Latin-rite diocese on the Congo River in Tshopo province, Democratic Republic of the Congo. Established as an apostolic prefecture 14 June 1951 from territory of four apostolic vicariates and elevated to a diocese 2 July 1962; it is a suffragan of the Archdiocese of Kisangani. Its cathedral is the Cathedrale Marie Mediatrice in Isangi; the see has been vacant since Bishop Dieudonne Madrapile Tanzi's tenure ended in September 2024.

History
Isangi, a city in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, gives its name to a Latin suffragan diocese (Latin: Isangien(sis)) within the ecclesiastical province of Kisangani. The bishop's seat is the Cathédrale Marie Médiatrice, dedicated to Mary Mediatrix, in Isangi itself.
