Latin-rite diocese in Ituri Province, Democratic Republic of the Congo, erected as the Diocese of Mahagi on 2 July 1962 from the Diocese of Bunia and renamed Mahagi-Nioka on 30 October 1967. It is a suffragan of the Metropolitan Archdiocese of Kisangani.

History
In Ituri Province of the Democratic Republic of the Congo, the territories of Mahagi-Nioka form a Roman Catholic diocese (Latin: Romano-Catholicae Dioecesis Mahagi-Nioka; French: Diocèse catholique romain de Mahagi-Nioka) belonging to the ecclesiastical province of Kisangani.
