Latin-rite diocese in Kasai Province, Democratic Republic of the Congo, erected as an Apostolic Vicariate on 25 April 1959 from the Apostolic Vicariate of Luluabourg and promoted to diocese on 10 November 1959. Its cathedral in Luebo is dedicated to Saint John the Baptist, and the diocese is a suffragan of the Metropolitan Archdiocese of Kananga.

History
A suffragan diocese of the ecclesiastical province of Kananga in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Luebo (Latin: Lueboën(sis)) keeps its episcopal see at the Cathédrale Saint-Jean-Baptiste, dedicated to John the Baptist. The city of Luebo also holds a former cathedral, the Cathédrale Sacré-Coeur, dedicated to the Sacred Heart.
