Its seat is the Cathedrale Saint-Martin in Mweka, and it is a suffragan of the Metropolitan Archdiocese of Kananga.

History
A Latin suffragan diocese under The Metropolitan of Kananga in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Mweka (Latin: Mvekaën(sis)) depends on the missionary Roman Congregation for the Evangelization of Peoples. Its cathedral and episcopal see, the Cathédrale Saint-Martin, stands in the city of Mweka in Kasai Province.
