The Archdiocese of Kunming is a Latin metropolitan see located in Kunming, capital of Yunnan, southwestern China, elevated to an archdiocese in 1946. Its Sacred Heart of Jesus Cathedral in Kunming was demolished in 2021. Archbishop Joseph Ma Yinglin, recognized by the Holy See in 2018, heads the see; in 1950 it counted about 10,025 Catholics.

History
Kunming, the provincial capital of Yunnan in southwestern China, is the seat of the Archdiocese of Kunming, known in Latin as Archidioecesis Coenmimensis and in Chinese as 天主教昆明總教區.
