Latin Church diocese, also known as the Diocese of Tangshan or Lulong, in Hebei, China, suffragan of the Archdiocese of Beijing. Established on December 23, 1899 as the Apostolic Vicariate of Eastern Chi-Li, renamed Apostolic Vicariate of Yongpingfu in 1924, and promoted to the Diocese of Yongping on April 11, 1946. Its cathedral is the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception in Tangshan; Bishop Peter Fang Jianping has served since 2010.

History

A Latin Church diocese in China's ecclesiastical province of Beijing, Yongping, also called Lulong or Tangshan (Latin: Iompimen(sis), Chinese: 永平, 盧龍), has its seat at the Immaculate Conception Cathedral in Yongping, now Lulong, Tangshan 唐山, in Hebei.
