Cartagena is a Latin Church metropolitan archdiocese on Colombia's Caribbean coast, erected as a diocese on 24 April 1534 and elevated to an archdiocese on 20 June 1900. Its cathedral is dedicated to Saint Catherine of Alexandria, and its suffragan sees include Magangué, Montelíbano, Montería, and Sincelejo.
