Latin-rite diocese seated at Monteria, capital of the Cordoba department of Colombia, suffragan of the Archdiocese of Cartagena. It was erected on 20 November 1954 from the Archdiocese of Cartagena and the Apostolic Vicariate of San Jorge. Its seat is the Cathedral of San Jeronimo in Monteria.
