The Diocese of Tilaran-Liberia is a Latin rite diocese covering Guanacaste province and Upala canton in northwestern Costa Rica, suffragan of the metropolitan Archdiocese of San Jose de Costa Rica. It was erected on 22 July 1961 from the Diocese of Alajuela. Its seat is the Catedral San Antonio de Padua in Tilaran, with the Concatedral La Inmaculada Concepcion in Liberia.
