The Diocese of Alajuela is a Latin rite diocese in Costa Rica, suffragan of the metropolitan Archdiocese of San Jose de Costa Rica. It was erected on 16 February 1921 from the Diocese of San Jose de Costa Rica. Its seat is the Cathedral of Our Lady of the Pillar in Alajuela.
