History
Comprising the whole of the department of Lot, the Diocese of Cahors (Latin: Dioecesis Cadurcensis; French: Diocèse de Cahors) is a Latin Church diocese of the Catholic Church in France. At first it stood as a suffragan of the Archdiocese of Bourges; later, from 1676 until the French Revolution, it was suffragan to the Archdiocese of Albi.
