The Diocese of Autun (Autun-Chalon-sur-Saone-Macon-Cluny) is a Latin rite diocese covering the Saone-et-Loire department in Burgundy, France, with origins in the 3rd century; the united see took its present form on 15 December 1962. It is a suffragan of the Archdiocese of Dijon. Its seat is the Cathedral of St. Lazarus in Autun.

History
Known in full as the Diocese of Autun (-Chalon-sur-Saône-Mâcon-Cluny) (Latin: Diocesis Aeduensis, Dioecesis Augustodunensis (-Cabillonensis-Matisconensis-Cluniacensis); French: Diocèse d'Autun (-Chalon-sur-Saône-Mâcon-Cluny)), this Latin Church diocese of the Catholic Church in France is generally called simply the Diocese of Autun. Its territory takes in the entire Department of Saone et Loire, in the Region of Bourgogne.
