The Diocese of Vannes is a Latin rite diocese in Brittany, France, founded in the 5th century and covering the Morbihan department. It has been a suffragan of the Archdiocese of Rennes, Dol, and Saint-Malo since 1859. Its seat is the Cathedral Basilica of St. Peter in Vannes, which holds the relics of St. Vincent Ferrer.

History
Established in the 5th century, the Diocese of Vannes (Latin: Dioecesis Venetensis; French: Diocèse de Vannes) is a Latin Church diocese of the Catholic Church in France. The bishop's seat is Vannes Cathedral in the city of Vannes, on the southern shore of the peninsula of Brittany (Bretagne). Its territory matches the French civil department of Morbihan, and since 3 January 1859 it has been a suffragan of the Archdiocese of Rennes, Dol, and Saint-Malo. Raymond Michel René Centène has been bishop since his appointment in 2005. In 2022 the diocese counted one priest for every 1,884 Catholics.
