The Diocese of Verapaz, Coban is a Latin rite see covering the 11,810 km2 departments of Alta Verapaz and Baja Verapaz in Guatemala, and a suffragan of the Archdiocese of Guatemala. Its seat is the Catedral de Santo Domingo de Guzman in Coban. Bishop Rodolfo Valenzuela Nunez has led the diocese since 22 February 2001.

History
Known also as Vera Paz, Cobán, the Roman Catholic Diocese of Verapaz is a Latin suffragan diocese within the ecclesiastical province of the Archdiocese of Guatemala. Its cathedral episcopal see, the Catedral de Santo Domingo de Guzman, honors Saint Dominic of Guzman and stands at Cobán in Alta Verapaz.
