History
The entire State of Utah forms the territory of the Diocese of Salt Lake City (Latin: Diœcesis Civitatis Lacus Salsi), a Catholic diocese in the United States and a suffragan of the Archdiocese of Las Vegas. The Cathedral of the Madeleine in Salt Lake City is its mother church, and Oscar Azarcon Solis serves as bishop.
