In the town of Jowai in India, within the ecclesiastical province of Shillong, lies the Roman Catholic Diocese of Jowai (Latin: Iovaien(sis)). Its territory of 3,819 square kilometers takes in the districts of East and West Jaintia Hills in Meghalaya.
