Latin rite diocese covering Mizoram in northeast India, renamed Diocese of Aizawl on 11 January 1996 (it had existed as the Diocese of Silchar since 1969). It is a suffragan of the Archdiocese of Shillong, with Christ the King Cathedral in Aizawl as its seat. Its patron is St. Joseph.

Seated in the city of Aizawl, this Roman Catholic diocese (Latin: Aizavlen(sis)) belongs to India's ecclesiastical province of Shillong.
