    The Diocese of Jefferson City has announced several upcoming formation events and resources in its September 2026 Salt and Light newsletter. An intensive workshop for clergy and parish OCIA teams is scheduled for either November 6 or 7. This session serves as a second part to the seminar presented by LTP in November 2025, though the diocese encourages all interested individuals to attend regardless of previous participation. A youth rally for middle and high school students will take place on November 22 at Helias Catholic High School. The event features speaker Meg Hunter Kilmer, entertainment by the Scally Brothers, and a Mass celebrated by the bishop. Registration costs $10 per student, which covers lunch and a t-shirt, while adult chaperones may attend for free if they are Virtus compliant. Additionally, the diocese has made three books available for order through a partnership with Ascension, offering them at a discounted diocesan rate.
