The Diocese of Montego Bay in northwestern Jamaica was erected on 14 September 1967 by Pope Paul VI from territory of the Diocese of Kingston, and is a suffragan of the Archdiocese of Kingston in Jamaica. Its cathedral is the Most Blessed Sacrament Cathedral in Montego Bay, covering five civil parishes. The see has been vacant since 16 October 2023, with Bishop John Derek Persaud of Mandeville serving as apostolic administrator.
