Chaldean Catholic eparchy covering all of Lebanon, erected on 3 July 1957 from territory of the suppressed Eparchy of Gazireh. It is immediately dependent on the Chaldean Catholic Patriarch of Babylon and its cathedral is Saint Raphael (Archangel Raphael) Cathedral in Baabda near Beirut.

History
For all of Lebanon, the Chaldean Catholic Church (sui iuris, following the Syro-Oriental Rite in the Syriac/Aramaic language) maintains a single eparchy, the Chaldean Catholic Eparchy of Beirut. Belonging to no ecclesiastical province, it depends immediately on the Chaldean Catholic Patriarch of Babylon in Baghdad, Iraq. Its cathedral see stands in Beirut, the Lebanese capital.
