The cathedral
Cathedral of the Assumption stands in Louisville, the church that holds the cathedra from which this see takes its name.
Its co-cathedral is Basilica of St. Joseph Proto-Cathedral, Bardstown.
On what a cathedral is, see the cathedral; every see church on earth is gathered at the cathedrals.

Sisters of Charity of Nazareth respond to Nepal flooding
Sisters of Charity of Nazareth are working with local partners to provide shelter, bedding, clothing, and hygiene supplies to families affected by catastrophic flooding in Nepal. According to a report from the congregation, sisters in the region are also accompanying displaced families as they navigate the disaster. Sister Jackulin Jesu, president of the congregation, and Sister Oliva Kujur, who has assisted in delivering relief, shared reflections on the situation. The flooding has also impacted communities in Bihar, India, where sisters and other responders are assisting families and clinics affected by downstream floodwaters.
