The Apostolic Prefecture of Misurata is a Latin Church missionary jurisdiction in Libya, immediately subject to the Holy See. Established on 22 June 1939 from the Apostolic Vicariate of Tripolitania, the prefecture became vacant when Bishop George Bugeja's administration ended on 22 October 2025.

History
In Misrata, Libya, the Catholic Church maintains the Apostolic Prefecture of Misrata, a Latin Church missionary territory that is exempt to the Holy See and belongs to no ecclesiastical province. The prefecture has stood vacant since 1969 and is instead led by an apostolic administrator.
