The Apostolic Vicariate of Tripoli is a Latin Church missionary jurisdiction in Tripolitania, Libya, immediately subject to the Holy See. Following the resignation of Bishop George Bugeja in October 2025, Magdi Helmy Ibrahim Mansour was named Apostolic Administrator.

History
Tripolitania, Libya is served by the Apostolic Vicariate of Tripoli (Latin: Vicariatus Apostolicus Tripolitanus), a Latin Church missionary territory that belongs to no ecclesiastical province, being immediately exempt to the Holy See and depending on the Roman Congregation for the Evangelization of Peoples. Though the vicariate keeps the name of its episcopal see, it lacks a cathedral: Tripoli Cathedral was converted into a mosque. For now the St. Francis Pro-Cathedral in the city of Tripoli fills that role, serving at the same time as a parish church.
