Latin-rite diocese in southern Shan State, Myanmar, erected on 15 December 2005 from the Archdiocese of Taunggyi, of which it is a suffragan. Its seat is Sacred Heart Cathedral in Pekhon; Bishop Felice Ba Htoo, coadjutor from 2024, succeeded as bishop on 2 February 2026.

History
In Pekhon, Shan State, the Catholic Church in Myanmar maintains the Diocese of Pekhon (Dioecesis Pekhonensis), a Latin Catholic diocese and suffragan of the Archdiocese of Taunggyi. It was created on December 15, 2005 from territory split off from that archdiocese, and Peter Hla, previously auxiliary bishop of Taunggyi, was chosen as its first bishop.
