The Diocese of Molfetta–Ruvo–Giovinazzo–Terlizzi is marking the 40th anniversary of the unification of its four dioceses. The diocese is beginning a new pastoral year using a title originally chosen by Don Tonino Bello in 1986. The diocese intends to use this anniversary to promote a more united and co-responsible Church.

The Office for la Pastorale Scolastica–IRC of the Diocese of Molfetta–Ruvo–Giovinazzo–Terlizzi held the first of two formation days on Monday, September 21. The event took place at the Parrocchia Santa Maria della Stella in Terlizzi.

The Diocese of Molfetta–Ruvo–Giovinazzo–Terlizzi presented the "Ark of Peace" renewable and solidarity energy community at the Achille Salvucci Auditorium. The Diocese of Molfetta–Ruvo–Giovinazzo–Terlizzi has proposed several tools to help parishes manage registrations and begin the 2026–2027 pastoral year. The Ufficio Catechistico Diocesano released these suggestions to encourage educational attention, the protection of minors, and ecclesial communion within local pastoral communities.
