A metropolitan see of the Latin Church in Mexico, the Archdiocese of San Luis Potosí (Latin: Archidioecesis Sancti Ludovici Potosiensis) presides over a province of three suffragan dioceses: Ciudad Valles, Matehuala and Zacatecas. The archbishop's cathedra rests in the Cathedral of St. Louis the King in the see city of San Luis Potosí.
