The Diocese of Nola is a Latin Church diocese in Campania, Italy, suffragan of the Archdiocese of Naples. One of the oldest sees in Italy, traditionally founded in the 3rd century, it has been led by Bishop Francesco Marino since November 2016.

History
Nola, a Campanian city that is today a suburb of Naples, is the seat of the Diocese of Nola (Latin: Dioecesis Nolana), a Latin diocese of the Catholic Church in Italy and a suffragan of the Archdiocese of Naples. Its cathedral honors the Assumption (Italian: Basilica Cattedrale di Maria SS Assunta); the original dedication was to Saint Stephen the Protomartyr, changed to the Assumption after the second reconstruction. Tradition credits this see with bringing bells into Christian worship.
