The Military Ordinariate of Italy is a personal ecclesiastical jurisdiction providing pastoral care to members of the Italian Armed Forces, established as a military vicariate in 1925 and raised to a military ordinariate in 1986. Archbishop Gian Franco Saba was appointed Military Ordinary in April 2025.

History
Catholics serving in the Italian Armed Forces, together with their families, receive pastoral care from the Military Ordinariate in Italy (Italian: Ordinariato Militare in Italia), a Latin Church military ordinariate of the Catholic Church in Italy that is immediately exempt to the Holy See.
