History
A missionary jurisdiction of the Latin Church in the Philippines, the Apostolic Vicariate of Bontoc-Lagawe (in Latin: Vicariatus Apostolicus Bontocensis-Lagavensis) belongs to no ecclesiastical province. Directly exempt to the Holy See, it falls immediately under the jurisdiction of the Pope, who exercises authority through the bishop-in-charge, known as the Vicar Apostolic.
