Latin Church metropolitan archdiocese and primatial see of Slovakia, with roots in the 1922 Apostolic Administration of Trnava and elevated to an archdiocese in 1977 before its 2008 reorganization moved the seat to Bratislava. Stanislav Zvolenský has been archbishop since 2008. Listed in the source as a diocese, it is in fact a metropolitan archdiocese.

History
Western Slovakia, taking in Bratislava and the western Trnava regions, forms the territory of this Latin Church archdiocese (Slovak: Bratislavská arcidiecéza, Latin: Archidioecesis Bratislaviensis). Its seat is in Bratislava. Stanislav Zvolenský serves as the current archbishop, assisted by auxiliary bishop Jozef Haľko.
