The Diocese of Chiayi is a Latin Catholic diocese in southwestern Taiwan, erected as an apostolic prefecture in 1952 and raised to a diocese in 1962. It is a suffragan of the Archdiocese of Taipei and has been led by Bishop Norbert Pu Ying-hsiung since 2022.

History
Taiwan's Diocese of Chiayi (Latin: Dioecesis Kiayiensis), also spelled the Diocese of Kiayi, began as an Apostolic Prefecture of Chiayi erected in 1952 and was raised to a full diocese in 1962. A suffragan of the Archdiocese of Taipei, this Latin Church diocese covers "Chiayi city and the counties of Chiayi and Yunlin."
