The Diocese of Hsinchu is a Latin Catholic diocese covering northwestern Taiwan, erected in 1961. It is a suffragan of the Archdiocese of Taipei and has been led by Bishop John Baptist Lee Keh-mien since 2006.

History
Covering northwestern Taiwan, the Diocese of Hsinchu (traditional Chinese: 天主教新竹教區; simplified Chinese: 天主教新竹教区; pinyin: Tiānzhǔjiào Xīnzhú Jiàoqū; Latin: Dioecesis Hsinchuensis) is a Latin Church diocese of the Catholic Church, erected as such in 1961 and suffragan to the Archdiocese of Taipei. John Baptist Lee Keh-mien, appointed in November 2006, is the current bishop.
