The Diocese of Taichung is a Latin Catholic diocese in central Taiwan, erected as an apostolic prefecture in 1950 and raised to a diocese in 1962. It is a suffragan of the Archdiocese of Taipei and has been led by Bishop Martin Su Yao-wen since 2007.

History
A Latin Church diocese of the Catholic Church in Taiwan, the Diocese of Taichung (Latin: Dioecesis Taichungensis) traces its origin to the Apostolic Prefecture of Taichung erected in 1950, which became a full diocese in 1962. It is a suffragan of the Archdiocese of Taipei, and its current bishop is Martin Su Yao-wen, appointed in June 2007.
