The Diocese of Tainan is a Latin Catholic diocese in southern Taiwan, erected in 1961 from territory of the former Apostolic Prefecture of Chiayi. It is a suffragan of the Archdiocese of Taipei and has been led by the Franciscan Bishop John Baptist Huang Min-cheng since 2023.

History
Carved in March 1961 out of territories that had belonged to the former Apostolic Prefecture of Kiayi, the Diocese of Tainan (Latin: Dioecesis Tainanensis) is a Latin Church diocese of the Catholic Church in Taiwan and a suffragan of the Archdiocese of Taipei.
