It is a suffragan of the Archdiocese of Lviv; the seat is the Cathedral of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Kharkiv, with a co-cathedral in Zaporizhzhia.

History
The Latin Church in Ukraine includes the Diocese of Kharkiv-Zaporizhzhia (Latin: Dioecesis Kharkiviensis-Zaporizhiensis), currently led by Bishop Pavlo Honcharuk. The diocesan seat is the Cathedral of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Kharkiv, with the Co-Cathedral of the Merciful Father in Zaporizhzhia serving alongside it.
