History
When the Ukrainian Catholic Archiepiscopal Exarchate of Donetsk-Kharkiv was divided into two Exarchates on 2 April 2014, the Archiepiscopal Exarchate of Kharkiv (Latin: Archiepiscopi Exarchatus Charcoviensis) came into being. Bishop Vasyl Tuchapets, O.S.B.M., serves as its first and current Archiepiscopal Exarch. Only five archiepiscopal exarchates exist worldwide, all of the Ukrainian Rite.
