The Archdiocese of Edmonton is a metropolitan see covering central Alberta, founded in 1871 as the Diocese of St. Albert and elevated to an archdiocese in 1912. Archbishop Stephen Hero was installed as its eighth archbishop in January 2026; its suffragans are Calgary and Saint Paul in Alberta.
