The Archdiocese of Caceres, seated in Naga City, is one of the oldest sees in the Philippines, founded in 1595 and elevated to a metropolitan archdiocese on June 29, 1951. It is the metropolitan see for the Bicol Region with suffragans Daet, Legazpi, Libmanan, Masbate, Sorsogon, and Virac.
